The Hanover Family of 8!!

Elden (named after a mountain in Flagstaff, an area that has been SO significant for our family) George (named after my Dad) arrived via c-section on July 16th at 8:11am.  He is perfectly healthy (praise the Lord.  It never ceases to amaze me that they come out with everything working).  I was required to stay in the hospital 2 nights (my longest yet) and came home on Wednesday.  Day #6 seems to be the "magic" day where I feel almost fully recovered from surgery so today I am feeling great.

It is a joy to have Elden in the world with us.  New life always seems to bring such joy.  No one can get enough of him and considering he sleeps CONSTANTLY, it's hard to give everyone a chance to be around him :).  Zoya was such a sleeper and I couldn't imagine an easier baby than her.  Well, Elden is :).  He has already started having better nights than Zoya did for most of her early months and does so well for all his naps.  He eats great.  No complaints.  I can't believe it.  Whether it will continue...he is only 6 days old :).

Thank you for your prayers for our family!  More pics to come.  They aren't loading right now.  Pray for us as we start to get back into the swing of things, for my full recovery and the adjustment of our family.
