Why are bullion cubes so exciting to kids???

 What to report?  The house is decorated for Christmas, although we have yet to get our tree.  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you did too.  We tried to volunteer at a soup kitchen but when they found out we were bringing 5 kids, they told us they actually had enough volunteers :).  They don't know our kids.  For Pete's sake, even Zoya can chop small things. 

So, we spent a quiet Thanksgiving with just us.  We were supposed to have some students over too but they wound up having other places to go.  So, we made a bunch of food (leftovers!) and gave thanks to God.

Some things we talked about:

Sunday breakfast.  Don't you love the centerpiece?

Bitsu: I am thankful that you guys adopted me.  I am thankful for family and thankful that I can read the Bible and know God.
Turi: I am thankful for my family.  I am thankful that I can go to school and learn.
Tihi: I am thankful for my family.  I am thankful for my friends that I can play with.
Carmen: Amen!
Zoya: (smile)

We are thankful for five healthy kids, the older two of whom we think we can really see fruit in their lives of God having changed their hearts.   We are so grateful for His salvation and grace on both Curt and I and now Turi and Bitsu!  What a joy it is to see children seek Him because they want to and they are being drawn to that.  We are thankful for a fruitful ministry here at NAU.  Of watching non-believers chose to believe and believers growing in grace.  We are thankful for our small staff team that functions well together.  We are thankful for our supporters who pray for us and give so that we can do what we do.  Thank you!!!
