One week we were carving pumpkins. The next, we were playing in the snow. We heard about the storm on the East Coast and the loss of power. It was nothing compared to what you all suffered through who live there!! My parents were without power for 6 days. We just had a fun storm that brought six inches.
I am not so sure Turi and Bitsu are excited about the snow. They are on shoveling duty this winter :).
For Carmen, everything is new all the time. Each new season brings new things that he doesn't remember from the previous.

It is so fun to watch him enjoy things. The snow was fun until he fell without gloves on. That brought the tears.
This morning, walking through the snow with Carmen, reminded me how God washes away our sin so that we are white as snow. I looked around me and saw how pure all the new snow was. It is amazing that, by His grace, we are seen as spotless as well. We are praising Him today for His finished work on the cross. We pray that you also would remember that you are accepted and loved not because of what you do but because of what Christ has already done on the cross.
