No, he hasn't come yet but we will be posting on this blog for when he does. So, keep your eyes and computers open! He is due on the 24th (yes, just 2 days away). We will induce September 3rd or 4th if he hasn't arrived by then so anytime between now and then.
Please pray for "normal" labor (not too fast, not too slow, no complications, etc.). I will attempt to go without drugs so that's a prayer request in itself! Thanks!

ReplyDeletethe female body is amazing; i did two labor/deliveries without drugs (aside from pitocin) & it was not like those harrowing stories from tv shows & movies...it was beautiful & yes, painful, but very do-able (i hope that doesn't sound conflicted?). we will pray that it goes well for you & your wee boy. lol, just watch out for those labor/delivery nurses who will try to talk you into an epidural (if you're in a hospital), they get fairly pushy *smile*
I agree with your friend! It IS totally do-able,and if anyone can do it, you can do it! (But if you do end up with the epidural, that's ok too). I was in active labor for 12 hours with no drugs (except pitocin), ended up w/epidural during the last couple of hours due to complications, and I will definitely attempt to do natural again next time! We'll pray for you, and excitedly await the news of Baby boy Hanover's arrival. I am so excited for you all!!
