"We want to rake"...

I don't know what it's been about the last 24 hours but the girls have been thrilled about working. Yesterday, Curt and I had to run an errand and left the girls alone. They do great when we need to go out for an hour or two which is a huge blessing. As I was leaving, Turi asked if she could mop the kitchen and dining room floor while we were gone. Well, ok, I guess if you have to :). When we got back, not only were the floors cleaned, they had also dusted some furniture and vacuumed most of the house. I thought, "I guess we do have the best kids in the world."
We have also been working on the yard and the girls will ask to go out and gather the sticks or rocks or rake. I put some pictures up so you can see them hard at work. They have been so helpful.
We leave tomorrow (4am) for CO where we will be attending a week long training for Lifelines, the ministry we are with under Campus Crusade. The girls are excited about going, even though it'll be another 14 hours in the car. They have been doing so well in all areas that we have no qualms about uprooting them for a week. We will be out of cell phone contact so I don't think you'll be hearing from us for awhile (not that I'm all that diligent with the blog anyway :)). Pray that the week would be good learning for us as we continue to figure out Lifelines' strategy.
Also, when we return (0n the 13th), Tihi's birthday will be right around the corner. She will be turning 5 on June 15th. She has never had a birthday so she is pretty excited!
